XV International Summer Economic School
International Economics Department of Donetsk National University in co-operation with the Center for economic education and consulation "Vneshconsult" and support of the British Council in Ukraine organizes the 15th International Summer School of Economics for International economics students of Ukrainian and foreign universities to be held in Donetsk and Svyatogorsk, Ukraine from 1 July, 2011 to 7 July, 2011.
The solemn opening of Summer school will start on 1 July, 2011 in Donetsk.
The program of Summer School stipulates carrying out lectures by heads of Donetsk chamber of commerce and industry, Authority of foreign economic relations of Donetsk Region, representatives of the enterprises - agents of foreign economic activities; besides the program of School provides carrying out scientific discussions with scientists and professors from Ukraine and abroad (Great Britain, USA, Poland, Spain, Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova, France, Byelorussia, Latvia, Georgia, Armenia, Russian Federation, Romania, Slovenia).
Modern student is the category of citizens of any state who will solve problems connected with world crisis. Many of them has already thought over the point if their profession is in demand under condition of economic disbalance in the world which country they can find the best usage of their professional skills and how much they will cost on global labour market. Goal of ISES is in overall support to development of civic activity of use in their self realization, providing legal humanitarian economic basis of social and civil formation of young person under conditions of crisis situation on world markets.
The main aim of carrying out of the International Summer School holding: engaging of students in drawing-up measures on overcoming of social and economic consequences of economic crisis. As well as rising of financial and legal competence of young citizens, formation of future leaders. As for this aim the main tasks of ISES are:
Widening of
objective and truly information about situation on global financial market in
whole and
market of
Ukraine exactly;
Engaging
youth in measures development of economic crisis overcoming;
Formation of
personal reserve in sphere of economy;
Increasing
of civic activity and responsibility of youth under conditions of instable
economic situation.
Besides this program of School includes the Days of cultures of countries - participants, Global Village and the excursion program on historical, religious and landscape sights of Svyatogorsk. In this connection it is necessary for the participants of School to have necessary attributes for representing national cultures, long-sleeved clothes (no jeans) according to requirements for visiting religious places and to backpacking.
Upon termination of lectures course all participants should present their theses to receive certificates.
LANGUAGES: ENGLISH, RUSSIAN, UKRAINIAN.
For the participation the International Summer School it is necessary to submit filled-out application form, and the research article on above specified topics. For your participation please send us a hard copy of your report on paper A4, also on disc 3.5’’ or via e-mail. Please supply text of your report: in Microsoft WORD 97-2003 using Times New Roman 11, line spacing - 1,0; with the following page margins: top and bottom – 25 mm, left – 30 mm, right – 20 mm. Please do not enumerate pages. Put down your first and last name (in capital letters) and your degree or academic title (in smaller letters) in the right corner, a title of your article – in the centre (in capital letters). Put the text with minimum of graphical and table material after your article’s headline. All figures, pictures are to be grouped in the text with assigned names under them. Tables should have titles above them. There should be a list of references and abstract in English at the end of article. This material must be introduced in 6 full pages. It is desirable to submit its presentation in Power Point with the text of article.
The application forms are available at International Economics Department or via e-mail. Selection of participants will be carried out on the basis of the submitted paperwork.
Deadline for submission of documents, articles and presentations – 20.05.2011.
Cost for foreign participants, including transportation, residing, meals, the set of participants, the lecture and excursion program is covered by Organizing Committee. Foreign participants should pay for their own expense return ticket to Donetsk, and visa costs.
In case of inability to arrive - participants should inform organizing committee of ISES about problems till 16.06.2011.
